NASA was founded on July 29, 1958. Just over a decade later, on July 20, 1969, Apollo 11 was the first manned mission to land on the Moon. Neil Armstrong’s famous words, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind,” marked the beginning of the space era.

The forthcoming anthology, SPACE, is a collection of stories about our reach for the stars. Mercury. Apollo. Pioneer. Voyager. Challenger and Columbia. ISS. Hubble. Curiosity and Opportunity. Orion. Space is the final frontier, and we’ve just begun our explorations.
